Hennessy Cognac Sales Growth in U.S. Strains Supplies

Earlier this year LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH), a luxury brand conglomerate and owner of Hennessy cognacs, warned that due to significant increases in Hennessy sales, the availability of cognac stocks may be impacted for the rest of the year. The warning was part of LVMH’s first quarter earnings release that reported record revenues of €9.9 billion in the first quarter of 2017, up 16% from the first quarter of 2016.

Binny’s to open in the far south suburbs

Binny’s Beverage Depot will open its newest store in Mokena, Illinois on Friday, bringing the Chicago-based beverage retail chain’s store count to 32.

Located at 21410 Wolf Road, the 14,000-square-foot store will offer more than 8,000 wines, distilled spirits and beers. Store highlights include an 18-door beer cooler, a temperature-controlled wine cellar with hundreds of rare and collectible wines, a high-end spirits room and a walk-in humidor.
