What are you drinking???

What is that a rum and coke or a Cube Libre?  What’s the difference you ask? LIME.

Amazingly enough the lime cuts through the sweetness of the coke and enhances the rum.  But for a true Cuba Libre use only Barcardi rum.

Here’s the recipe

– 3 parts cola
– 1 part rum (Bacardi Superior or Gold)
– 1 lime wedge

Fill a tall glass with ice, squeeze the lime wedge over the ice, and then add the rum and cola.

Try it I’ll wait.

Ice. Rocks. Diamonds. Snow Miser Testicles. Call frozen water by any other name, (we’re at least 75% sure no one has called it the third one) that beautiful bit of glass-like cold is one of the pillars of cocktail creation.

Snowmiser74shawn Try to not think of this guy next time you’re mixing it up.

LIME SHORTAGE….This is NOT a drill

In a survey of friends across the country, prices have gone from a low of about $25 a case to the current market price of $135 a case.

This has hit bars hard.
