LVE Wine Collection by John Legend Now Exclusively Available at all 66 Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar Restaurants

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar today announced that it is offering the LVE Collection by John Legend for a limited time and exclusively at its 66 locations. Made in collaboration with Grammy, Golden Globe and Oscar winning singer/songwriter John Legend and Napa Valley’s renowned Raymond Vineyards, Fleming’s Guests can experience the 2013 LVE Cabernet Sauvignon and 2014 LVE Chardonnay by the glass or bottle at each Fleming’s restaurant through March 29.

The LVE Collection by John Legend translates true love into the bold flavors and aromas we savor in each glass, and we’re delighted to share the experience these legendary labels lend with Fleming’s Guests,” said Maeve Pesquera, Fleming’s National Director of Wine. “At Fleming’s, we’re honored to partner with John Legend and Raymond Vineyards, whose shared passion for winemaking has created a complex, soulful wine we’re sure will be a timeless favorite.”

Guests can experience the complex, powerful notes found in the 2013 LVE Cabernet Sauvignon for $24 per glass or $96 per bottle, as well as the balanced, fruit-forward aromas and flavors of the 2014 LVE Chardonnay for $17 per glass or $66 per bottle both at the bar and in the main dining room as part of the Reserve Pour program.

In addition to being available a la carte, The LVE Collection wines will be featured as a complement to Fleming’s Valentine’s Day prix fix menu as well as during the National Wine Dinner that will be held on February 20th at all 66 locations. Guests can make a reservation online for both events or by calling their local restaurant.

Premium Napa Valley Wine Company, Founded by NBA Star, Yao Ming

Napa Valley winery, Yao Family Wines, has announced an equity crowdfunding campaign on Crowdfunder to open tasting rooms, build its direct-to-consumer business and create new market opportunities. Perks for top investors include tickets to wine-tasting and gala events, and the grand opening of the Yao Family Wines Shanghai tasting room.

“We may all be eating different meals but we are drinking from the same bottle. That’s why I fell in love with wine. It reminded me of family-style meals in China, where everyone shares a common meal.”

Yao Family Wines, founded by NBA legend Yao Ming, bottles three ranges of wines including YAO MING Family Reserve, YAO MING Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, and Napa Crest, a proprietary Napa Valley red wine blend. The wines have been remarkably well received, scoring between 90 and 98 points from acclaimed critics such as Robert Parker, Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast Magazine.

Seeking to raise $3 million on Crowdfunder, the company plans to build a visitor center in Napa Valley for guests to enjoy tastings and events. China, a major market for Yao Family Wines and a huge growth market for the luxury California wine industry, will also become home to a new tasting room in Shanghai.

Yao Ming launched Yao Family Wines as a result of a discovered love of wine during his time in the United States, and an admiration for the beauty of Napa Valley. “Every shared bottle of wine becomes a permanent memory – a night you share with family and friends,” said Yao. “We may all be eating different meals but we are drinking from the same bottle. That’s why I fell in love with wine. It reminded me of family-style meals in China, where everyone shares a common meal.”

Available on select Walmart shelves in late spring 2015, the new Moscato is a semi-sweet wine with big, beautiful aromas of ripe peaches, a touch of honey sweetness and a wonderfully refreshing finish. Packaged in an innovative bottle designed for by-the-glass consumption, Xo, G consists of four prefilled, individually sealed, shatterproof, stemless wine glasses that snap together to form a perfect equivalent of a 750mL bottle, wonderful for those who prefer just one glass.

After the success of the initial launch of Xo, G with the Italian Pinot Grigio and the French Rose and Pinot Noir, Rancic was excited to add a Californian wine as a new addition to her wine brand. Rancic was looking to fill the high demand from consumers for a sweeter taste that has been trending in the wine industry. Perfect for summer, Moscato is fruity and sweet in flavor but still light and crisp.

“After hearing the positive reaction from consumers with the initial launch, I did an extensive amount of outreach through social media to find out what new flavors the Xo, G wine buyers wanted,” shares Giuliana Rancic. “As the wine industry is steering towards the sweeter flavors like Riesling and Sparkling Prosecco, it was no surprise that Xo, G consumers were demanding for a fruity Moscato.”

The California Moscato will hit shelves in late Spring and will be sold alongside the ever-so popular Xo, G Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir, and Rose.
