BEST DAMN Brewing Co. is back to bring you the best damn news you’ve heard all day with the release of their newest hard soda, BEST DAMN Cream Soda. Hitting shelves nationwide starting March 6th, BEST DAMN Cream Soda is aged on real vanilla beans during the brewing process for a touch of sweetness.
“BEST DAMN Cream Soda is our take on timeless recipe and is a sweet addition to any occasion whether you’re out with the guys, drinking with friends at a BBQ or even cheering on your favorite team,” said Kathryn Sattler, Sr. Director, BEST DAMN Brewing Co., Anheuser-Busch. “BEST DAMN Cream Soda joins the national family of flavorful and approachable brews, and complements our fan-favorite BEST DAMN Root Beer with another take on nostalgic flavors. It’s SODA-licious, you’ll love it.”
Additionally, in 2017, the brand will continue to grow its portfolio of flavorful brews with BEST DAMN Sweet Tea, available in select Northwest and Midwest markets starting March 27th. The new hard tea is aged on real black tea leaves during the brewing process for a crisp and refreshing taste – “Tastiness Guaran-Tea’d!” BEST DAMN Sweet Tea joins the brand’s portfolio of beers including BEST DAMN Cream Soda, BEST DAMN Root Beer, and BEST DAMN Apple Ale.
Drinkers can find the new brews where BEST DAMN Brewing Co. products are sold, for purchase in six-packs of 12-oz. bottles and 16-oz. cans.
Anheuser-Busch’s Budweiser brand has released a new, limited-edition 18-pack ahead of the holiday season. Boxed in a wooden crate, each pack includes 18 bottles of Budweiser featuring classic label designs, as well as a pair of pilsner glasses. 10,000 crates will be available nationwide.
The wooden crates, which are handmade by Vintage Editions, Taylorsville, N.C., will be available, hitting shelves across the country this week. Consumers who find and purchase one of the 10,000 crates are encouraged to share images of their own holiday parties on social media, using the hashtag #HolidayBuds.
Concurrently, Budweiser is updating 1.6 million cases of its 12-, 18- and 24-pack bottles with classic labeling, commemorating the brand’s last label before Prohibition (1918), its first label following the repeal of Prohibition (1933) and its design for Budweiser’s 100th anniversary (1976).
Its newest beverage, Johnny Appleseed Hard Apple Cider, will become available nationwide on April 7. Described as a “sweet and intense hard apple cider” in promotions, Johnny Appleseed has an alcohol content of 5.5% and includes apple juice from fruit harvested in the U.S. and elsewhere. The cider is made in Baldwinsville, N.Y.
Cider occupies a “sweet spot” between beer and wine and hard liquor drinks mixed with juice, says Adam Oakley, vice president of high-end at Anheuser-Busch. “Cider drinkers are looking for an alternative, (and) they want something that is more refreshing. We tried to develop the most refreshing cider that you could get by blending … a perfect balance of apple intensity and sweetness.”
Johnny Appleseed Hard Apple Cider will be available in 12-ounce glass bottles with a twist-off cap in six-packs and 12-packs, and sold individually in 16-ounce and 25-ounce cans. It will be available on draft this summer.
