The Redd’s family of brands is giving fans even more ways to break their routine with the nationwide debut of Redd’s Wicked Black Cherry.

Following rave reviews to the spring release of Redd’s Wicked Mango, Redd’s Wicked Black Cherry is a dark-golden beer with juicy black cherry flavors balanced by a crisp apple base. At eight percent alcohol by volume, the newest addition to the Redd’s Wicked family delivers a smooth, moderate body and light carbonation, with a refreshingly hard and satisfying finish.

Redd’s Green Apple Ale is a brilliant, light-golden beer that serves up a dose of green apple flavor with an exceptional balance of crisp and tart. At five percent alcohol by volume, the beer boasts a clean, slightly dry, yet smooth finish that complements the fun and unexpected personality of the Redd’s Apple Ale brand.

Its mischievous cousin, Redd’s Wicked Mango, offers a rich, golden color and bold mango flavor rooted in crisp apple tones at eight percent alcohol by volume. The flavor of Redd’s Wicked Mango starts out strong but finishes smooth for easy drinkability and a refreshingly hard kick of taste.

Redd’s Green Apple is receiving marketing support across all channels, including the introduction of the character “Granny Smith,” a tart old lady with an unexpected sense of humor. In addition to a fully-integrated marketing campaign, Redd’s Wicked Mango is continuing its partnership with cultural collective group, AFROPUNK, to curate a four-city series of experiences that merge the multi-dimensional worlds of urban alternative music, art, food and technology. Beginning this spring, events in Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C., will bring together each city’s top musicians, artists, designers and tastemakers for an epic celebration of culture.

Redd’s is introducing Redd’s Wicked Apple, the first refreshingly hard ale of its kind. At eight percent alcohol by volume, Redd’s Wicked Apple is a hard ale that amplifies Redd’s crisp apple flavor for an experience that starts strong and finishes smooth.

“Redd’s Wicked Apple was created to provide a refreshing alternative to drinkers during occasions that typically have been exclusive to spirits,” said David Kroll, MillerCoors vice president of insights and innovation. “In the national marketing campaign, we will literally show Redd’s Wicked Apple smashing its competition and, in turn, positioning itself as the only choice that’s both refreshing and hard.”

In the new product’s packaging, Redd’s Apple Ale fans will recognize familiar Redd’s iconography but with a mischievous twist. Redd’s Wicked Apple’s logo will feature playfully “horned” apple leaves and an additional black color scheme. Redd’s Wicked Apple will be available exclusively in cans to maximize convenience.

The product will launch with a fully integrated “Refreshingly Hard” campaign, including TV, social, digital and experiential activations. Additionally, the brand will kick off a “Most Wicked Promoter” competition in September, in which the nation’s top promoters in Atlanta and New York City will battle it out to throw the most “wicked” party and give their city ultimate bragging rights.

Redd’s Wicked Apple is available in 12-pack 10-ounce cans as well as 16 and 24-ounce single cans.
