National Mulled Wine Day


March 3rd is also National Mulled Wine Day. Mulled wine differs from regular wine in that it’s usually combined with spices and served warm.

With an expected high of 18 in Chicago, we may just need this after dodging potholes.  Mimic fresh baked cookies by adding cinnamon, cloves, raisins, cranberries or even a few orange peels.  Don’t want to watch a pot?  Add all to a crock-pot on warm for up to three hours.
